For the first time, Royal Mail has dedicated an entire stamp issue to an individual music artist or cultural figure. The stamps were issued in the year of what would have been his 70th birthday and 50 years since his first album release.

The Duffy Archive proudly worked in conjunction with Royal Mail for the 2017 David Bowie first-day cover.

These items are brand new and do not have any address markings on them. Presented on a white envelope with the iconic lightning bolt stamped showing the first day of issue - 14.3.2017 - And are also marked with SW9, the postcode for Brixton.

Inside the envelope is an insert with a timeline of Bowie's musical career and additional pictures and information.

All envelopes come in a sealed plastic sleeve with the Duffy Archive embossed stamp.
